I started this series to figure out what I am reading in the Bible.  When I read, I get clear images in my mind, that is, if I feel I understand what I am reading. 

Sometimes when I read the Bible, my mind wanders, so I challenged myself to really try to paint a picture of what I am reading.
Sometimes I have to read 3 or 4 translations of the verse to finally get the image in my mind so that I can paint it.

I hope I am getting the message right.  I'd hate to be one to misinterpret the Bible - that would be bad.

I'm certainly not preaching.. this is a visual journey through the Bible so that I can understand it better.  It seems to help me.

There will be more of these to come.  I'm taking my time with this series.
